Are these strategies different for online stores? I have heard that google treats an online store a bit different than regular pages since a store has many categories and products on technically the same page per se??? Just curious thanks! I've got 3000 skus for scrapbooking and it is a lot of work to get content up for EACH product. So do I focus on just the main store page content or what?

Thanks for the tips. I should definitely diversify my anchor text more. Lately I've been trying to get some bare links (with no anchor text) to make my backlinking look more natural. Thanks again!

`A` Tim,

One way to get your website crawled fast is to put a link on the homepage of an older website that is already being crawled and the older the site the better. Also, although seo in important one of the main things to rank well are full page views, they have always been relevant so obviously the more traffic to your site the higher your ranking (Alexa and search engines).. So purchasing CPV's will help a lot, the more you buy means more full page views and if you have big pockets you can throw seo out the window.

Just my 2 cents eh.

Take care,
Al

Thank for the tips on eliminating footprints. It is easy to fall into the "take the easy" way out but I guess a little bit of pre-planning makes a big difference in the end.
Google does a lot of algorithm shuffles and a lot of people groan when they do. I have a site that is content rich for my particular niche and couldn't get it up past the bigger non specific content sites but since the last shuffle it is going well for internal pages. Some of the garbage sites have been shifted ai=side. Thank goodness.

I think as long as we put up good content and follow the SEO setups and get some good links we will eventually go ok.
Thanks guys for the heads up !

You know you guys are great when explaining what is involved in SEO. I always get some good ideas from your informative articles. I use products offered by you because I know if you say the product is beneficial, I know I should take advantage because, in my opinion, you credibility is beyond second thoughts. Please keep up the good work.

Hi Tim,

Thanks for all the great information. I have been putting into practice what you have taught in your free series. You can see I created my first video and already posted it. I did some research with samurai and found a phrase that seemed like I could compete in but after a while I am questioning if I really can. You can see the domain with the key phrase I am targeting. Could you take a look at it in Samurai and let me know what you think? Also I was wondering how long does it take for google to crawl my page. I posted it a day ago and submitted it but no crawls yet.

Hey great tips,
You have indeed got me thinking. You clarified that there really is no sure fire way to rank well every time. It would be nice to have a way of doing things that would guarantee you a good position, but it doesn't look like that is possible.
Thanks

Overall great insights and advice. But really, we need to move beyond this SEO mentality that "Google is watching YOUR every move" - or that it's set up some kind of War-Room to plot, map, and track the movement of your website and is 'watching you' for dirty tricks. There's so much paranoid thinking, FEAR of Google's wrath, etc. Just write your content, market your sites and posts effectively and aggressively and build a _diverse_ back-links in 1001 ways and places.

Above all, diversify. Have more than one site or blog, work a variety of niches - so that you're free from thinking one set of keywords or one site is gonna make or break you. There's safety in numbers. So what if Google 'hates you'? Bing and Yahoo may LOVE your site and it's content. There's plenty of fish in the sea - and ways to get traffic.
