Hi Tim,
You make some very good points here, particular the excessive messaging by marketers as you’ve noted under #2.
I started following some people who send messages several times a day and while I haven’t un-followed them yet I am by now ignoring anything they send. I’d rather follow people who have something interesting to say on a regular basis but no more than perhaps once or twice a week than those who bombard me with messages every hour or so. I’m much more likely to follow a link from the once or twice a week good Tweet and subsequently buy then looking at the prolific Tweeter. The problem with Twitter as I see it is that it is useful because Google and Bing look at it for ranking but in most cases that’s about it.

Honest John, I've no idea what you are talking about actually.

Not sure why you would think I was ridiculing you, I think you have the wrong end of the stick there!

Cheers

Hi Tim,

I'm glad that you've been been receiving my Twitter messages, but shocked and dismayed that you've chosen to ridicule them on your site, and then don't even have the decency to give me a backlink that works. If you carry on like this, I'll have to consider unfollowing you.

I found this read very enlightening, and I've noticed that leaving the DM with an affiliate link gets old really quick. I think people should use their DM to further build their network, instead of pitching people.

Do you guys have your own twitter software that can't be found anywhere else?

Thanks Guys

I've seen some people disagree. Saying it's up to us to follow or unfollow which is true, but if you want to be more successful I believe this post is 100% accurate as I've seen someone with a similar view before who had tons of followers and success, so I do think there is something to the strategy Tim is talking about.

Dzien dobry,

I have little idea of what this Twit thingy is. I would love some background.

If you gentlemen could maybe post an intro to social media and explain how businesses can benefit from it that would be great!

Personaslly, I thought that if someone was FAT some one else could be FATTER. So if some one is a TWIT...

Will there ever be a TWITTEST site???

Cheers
