Great video! I watched just to hear the song!

I’m opting in just because I’m curious, now (which is what you wanted, anyway).

Hey, can the guitar freak play YES, Genesis, Steve Howe, Steve Hackett, etc.? Classical, pop, and rock? If so, maybe we could collaborate via the web! I’m in New York, and guitar players are a dime a dozen, but it’s not always easy to find the right person . . .

I’m also wondering if you paid royalties to Survivor for that song . . .

Thanks!
Andrew

P.S. I have too many websites to list in the URL above, so I just put my name blog = but We’re launching our new product soon, and I’m sure this info will come in handy.

Hi Andrew,

Anthony here, I visited New York about 18 months ago. Incredible city! You asked about my guitar playing.

These days my guitar playing is low key mainly playing with friends at local small venues. The internet business my brother Tim and I run takes a fair bit of our time. The band plays several music styles but we seem to gravitate towards rock.

It’s quite interesting really because our bass player in the past played in a heavy metal band until she got married and had kids, our trumpet player (who also plays harmonica, didgeridoo and bongos), used to be a Jazz session player and these days is busy as a Psychologist (in fact all the band get free “analysis” on “why we are still playing 70’s rock in 2008!”), so we put together a unique sound. But no, I am not looking for work thanks.

Life is busy enough already as a grown up Internet marketer!

You can see me ‘hard at’ in the office at this link.

Cheers,

Anthony

Hello,

I have been following Frank Kern for quite some time trying to learn more about internet marketing and to become successful. I got your information from Twitter.

I’m trying to come up with the money I need to get started for when I come across something I truly believe in to promote. My first attempt was years ago when I purchased Instant Internet Empires from Frank Kern. We all know that got shut down so I was out $47 on my first attempt at internet marketing. lol I’ve lost quite a bit of money along the way trying to weed out legitimate opportunites from all of the scams.

But, I do still believe in Frank and know that I can learn alot from him. Anyway, I am just trying to soak up as much knowledge as I can from all of you guys so someday I can become successful enough to do this full time and work from home and spend time with my family.

I also liked the video of the guitar jammin’ going on!

Thank you!

Sincerely,

Dale Rose

Hi guys
thanx for refreshing kind of videos and readings!
perfect matching to what i am trying out too…

so using many tags is that like spamming google?
many tags=many backlinks internal and many onsite pages though…

my site above ha superfast indexinga and -great- rankings i big G before and suddenly it stopped and now nothing is ranking high in google.com any longer ;(
suppose i got some kind of punishment there?

any tips on making it back?

#22
Written By i am making money right now on October 6th, 2008 @ 4:05 am

Great question.

Nope, tags are not spamming. A tag is purely a classification or a way to categorize your pages.

Of course if you start using large numbers of tags, then yes you may find problems with free sites like wordpress.com deleting your site, so always aim to keep it human.

In relation to your question. I’d need to know more information before answering.

1. Nothing is ranking high? What are we talking. Page 2,3,20,50 100 ?

2. How long ago did it stop?

3. What were you doing when it happened. Black hat, etc ?

4. How old is the site.

In my experience nothing is permanent, so I would keep plugging away and use some of the strategies we have discussed and you may very well find you’ll get back to where you were before.

Cheers

hi Tim

thanx again for great info real fun jokes, like your humor guys =)

1. Nothing is ranking high? What are we talking. Page 2,3,20,50 100 ?

dont know but in SEOdigger.com i got a lot of posts ranked but today nothing is ranking in seodigger.com listings though other searchengines do rank my blog (wordpress blog) still but google.com dropped all my top listings… i see from statcounter that google.com still has some indexed pages but they do rank low, i dont know exactly how low though…

2. How long ago did it stop?
maybe 1-2 monthes ago

3. What were you doing when it happened. Black hat, etc ?
i dont think i did anything wrong
but maybe my blog got full of to many outgoing affiliatelinks or something? i was promoting affiliateprograms a lot…
and was pinging and tagging a lot, used many tags (all keywords i pulled out from keyword elite sometime so the list was huge sometimes)

one thing i noticed in statcounter though, was that searches that brought people to my site in many times was like this: site:www.kennethsvensson.com/posttitlehere

i wonder why is that??

4. How old is the site.

kennethsvensson.com was created on: May 04 2004

Domain age (approximately):
4 Years, 5 Months, 26 days..

Regards!

Hi gents,
Again, you have shared more content than could be expected – not only that, it is excellent quality! Tim, I must say you have really got my brain thinking through the concepts of why web 2.0 works with RSS and the API that runs it all. It is brilliant to realize that friendfeed , etc, captures it all for backlinks. I totally get your theory, and I applaud you for sharing. Yes, I was just using it for fun, but now I see…. and hey, let’s remember, several free accounts can be setup for the linking, just like using “feeder” blogs. I cannot wait to see what else you will share. Thank you very much, again!!

drats, just read your post on the no follow policies!
It would be great if your research turns up some that allow the links, and I know you will share.

Nonetheless, I am liking how you are thinking and analyzing, I applaud your efforts. It is just like how google changes their ways (probably daily), we have to be like chameleons and keep working to figure it out.

If anyone has used a sprout page, can you please let me know your experience?

Thanks again
Kit

#28
Written By Kit | www.tinkerbellauction.com on October 9th, 2008 @ 6:04 am

Kit,

Don’t be too worried about this. FriendFeed is only one of many websites. It’s a popular one, there are others, I am just doing a recap on them all to make sure they are suitable before giving a recommendation.

Feedagg.com and other rss aggregators is still virtually an instant way to get backlinks, friendfeed was just nice because it put it all together in an easy to use format.

Stay tuned, it’s our goal to keep you up to date on all this type of stuff.

Cheers

So far this material has been awesome and I’m seeing great results already.

I have a question that is totally unrelated to what you’re teaching:

- Where did you get your video intro music done? :)

#31
Written By Chris Cade | Best Christmas Stories on October 9th, 2008 @ 6:51 pm

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the question.

They intro music comes from http://musicbakery.com/

The sell Royalty free music.

We edit the tracks ourselves and add the Fade Ins and Outs using Sony Sound Forge.

Anthony loves that side of things being a guitar nut!
