Author Rank, rel=”author” and Google Authorship Program – What Are They?

I’ve put together an article discussing just what the Google authorship program (also know as rel=”author” and author rank) does and how it will benefit your website.

In a nutshell if you want more web traffic and protection from people copying your content and claiming it as your own, then this is something you need to take a look at.

Check our my first article on what google author rank is, and how you can benefit. Shortly I’ll be releasing a second article which actually goes into detail of how to set it up and configure it for your site.

I also discuss Publisher rank (aka rel=”publisher”) and how this differs from author rank and how you can use both to your advantage.

So take a read and if you have any comments, please leave them here or on the article and I’ll respond.

It is frustrating but keep on posting and it should show up eventually!  It seems you need to have some authority before it fully shows up.
